Big news! (And 18 hours of free Live Action FX Training)

I promised you something big Friday and unfortunately I got stuck on the other side of LA all afternoon and didn’t get back to my office until late, so I didn’t get a chance to tell you the big news. However I am anxious to share this with you, so I will follow up soon with more in-depth info. But for now all you need to know is this:

I have put together a new Live Action FX training series focused on taking shots start to finish through the entire visual effects pipeline. Dealing with real footage shot on real film cameras, with a real film crew and a 3D team here in LA modeling, tracking, and of course creating all of the FX and everything else.

This is video 1 of 8 – which dives into creating Live Action Visual Effects – in this case the destruction of a building you might recognize in Century City, Los Angeles (about a block away from the Nakatomi Plaza in Die Hard). Just a heads up – there are 18 HOURS of training I will be sending you. Yes, EIGHTEEN HOURS. Pretty nuts!

Also here are the links to the Scene Files, HD Footage, Roto Mattes, and HDRI etc.

· The Plate (HD Footage)

· 3DS Max Start Scene File (Building and tracked camera)

· HDRI

That’s it for now! I will follow up soon.

PS. One favor I would like to ask, because I would love for as many people as possible to get the chance to see this training. So Nick, if you can take a moment simply to share the link "www.LiveActionVFX.com" on your Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter, or to whomever you think till benefit from this training – it would mean a lot to me, thank you! .. and if you don’t want to, no problem but it would mean the world to me if you can take a moment to do so. Thank you!
